BLOUSES, TOPS AND JACKETS MEASUREMENTS

FRONT BODICE
- Across Neck - measure at the base of your neck, resting the tape measure on your larynx hollow.
- Shoulder Point Width - taken from Shoulder to Shoulder, approximate 4 inch (10,1 cm) bellow larynx hollow, with the tape measure crossing all bodice lengths. It is advisable that a friend helps you. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
- Half Bodice Length - taken from Shoulder Point Neck, where the neck meets the body, to the highest point of your bust
- Front Waist Length - take from Centre Base neck (larynx hollow) to Middle front of your waist.
- Front Bodice Length - taken from Shoulder Point Neck, (where the neck meets the body) to the waist.
- Make sure that the tape falls over the highest point of your bust
- Shoulder Pitch or Slope - taken from the Shoulder Point across the bust to the waistline.
- Side Bodice Length - from 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) below your armpit down to side waist line. If you wish more comfort then please add from 1 inch (2.5cm) upwards.
- Over Shoulder Length - measure around your shoulder. Do not tighten your tape measure too much as this will effect your garment armhole

FRONT SLEEVE
Please keep your arm bent whilst taking these measurements.
- Shoulder length - taken from shoulder point neck to shoulder point.
- Upper Arm Length - from shoulder point to your elbow.
- Forearm Length - from elbow to wrist
- Over shoulder Length - measure around your shoulder. Do not tighten your tape measure too much as this will effect Your garment armhole
- Arm Width - around your arm
- Elbow Width - around your elbow
- Three Quarter Sleeve - measure approximate 7,5cm (3 inches) below your elbow
- Wrist Width - around your wrist

BACK BODICE
- Shoulder Point Width - taken from shoulder to shoulder, approximate 11.4cm (4 1/2 inches) below your nape. It is advisable that a friend helps you. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
- Full Back Width - taken from armpit to armpit as this is the widest area of your back.
- Half Back Width - from the centre of your back bone straight to your armpit
- High Hip - half way between the waist and the hip
- Lower Hip - the fuller part of your thighs
- Shoulder Pitch or Slope - taken from the shoulder point to the waist.
- Back Waist Length - From your nape to your waist
A - High Bust or Chest B - Bust C - Waist D - Hips |

BACK SLEEVE
Please keep your arm bent whilst taking these measurements.
- Sleeve Length - Measure from the vertebra at the back of your neck to your wrist That should be the measurement of half the back width PLUS the sleeve length.
